Daken ASV (Attachments & Special Vehicles) has launched the new Bobcatâ 2300 utility vehicle with an innovative and unique RapidLinkä attachment system that will redefine the utility vehicle market in Australia.
The new Bobcatâ 2300 utility vehicle is the only utility vehicle on the market with an attachment system and is therefore more versatile than any other utility vehicle. It can not only tow and carry but can perform a range of tasks using its front-mounted attachments. The Bobcatâ 2300 is ideal for large farms and job sites, lifestyle property owners, councils, recreational venues, and organisations that need to perform a range of maintenance tasks as well as transport people and cargo.

The RapidLinkä attachment system is compatible with five specially designed Bobcat attachments: a bucket, mower, pallet forks, light material blade and whisker push broom. The RapidLinkä attachment arm can lift loads up to 225 Kg as high as 1.2 metres and additional attachments will soon be available to further increase the versatility of this truly unique vehicle”. Users can operate the attachments from the comfort and safety of their seat with an easy to operate joystick control that is also a market exclusive. During attachment changes the user only needs to leave their seat to lock or unlock the attachment. When not in use, the RapidLinkä attachment arm can be quickly and easily removed for more traditional four-wheel drive applications. The new 15kW diesel Bobcatâ 2300 utility vehicle has many of the same features as the
highly acclaimed Bobcatâ 2200 four-wheel drive utility vehicle, including the exclusive IntelliTrakâ drive system. When maximum traction is needed for climbing hills or travelling over soft terrain, the IntelliTrakâ drive system automatically sends power to all four wheels, preventing one, two or three wheels from spinning without the fourth. The automatic locking differential engages when needed and disengages when turning to minimise ground disturbance and, importantly, minimise wear to the tyres and drive components.
The deep-ratio and continuously variable transmission of the new Bobcatâ 2300 utility vehicle provides high torque and travel speeds up to 40 kph. The unique transmission design eliminates the need for users to stop and shift gears. Rack-and-pinion steering provides responsive, precise and practically effortless steering, a quick turning ratio, and a short turning radius. The new Bobcatâ 2300 utility vehicle boasts an impressive range of features for user comfort including an adjustable steering column and driver’s seat, market-leading legroom, extra storage spaces, cup holders and a 12 volt adapter on the dash panel. The unmatched superb ride quality is delivered through the A-arm front suspension and swing-arm rear suspension.
Other important features of the new Bobcatâ 2300 utility vehicle include an exclusive aluminium frame that is rust-proof, strong and very durable. A power cargo dump box with a 363 Kg bed load capacity is standard, and the seats, bonnet and cargo box can be easily lifted for access to routine maintenance items such as engine oil, radiator coolant and brake fluid levels. For added towing and rear attachment capabilities, users can hook up a trailer or implements to the standard 2-inch receiver hitch on the rear.
Daken ASV is also launching the new Bobcatâ four-wheel drive, four passenger 2200S utility vehicle that includes four forward-facing seats plus a generous cargo area for gear and supplies.
